Attire is business casual for all activities including the meetings and dinners. Some meals will be outside, so plan for warm weather during the day and cooler nights.
What is the weather in Phoenix in November?
The weather in Phoenix in November typically shows warm days and cool nights with lots of sunshine. Average sunrise is 7:50 am. Average sunset is 5:30 pm. Average temperatures range from 75 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit.
Will there be continuing education credits offered at the conference?
We will be submitting quite a few sessions for CE credits for approval from the CFP Board. We would expect 4 hours from breakout sessions and 2 from plenary sessions. What is the Speed Connections session about?
As a special feature to facilitate interactions with sponsors, we are offering client-facing advisors the opportunity to select up to four discount coupons to schedule a ten minute face-to-face meeting with participating sponsors. Each coupon will provide a $75 discount from the published registration fee. Coupon codes will be selected on the registration page.
What is special about the Sheraton Grand at Wild Horse Pass?
The Sheraton Grand at Wild Horse Pass is owned by the Gila River Indian Community, a sovereign Native American tribe, and is operated under a management partnership with Sheraton (Marriott International). Located on tribal land in Phoenix, AZ, it is a Native American-owned luxury resort designed to reflect the heritage of the Pima and Maricopa tribes. The resort was designed by tribal members to reflect the Pima (Akimel O’otham) and Maricopa (Pee Posh) cultures, featuring local artwork, indigenous landscaping, and themed rooms. An interior designer’s masterpiece, each detail has been included for cultural significance from the Pima and Maricopa traditions from the design of the tiles and bedspreads, to the petroglyph-engrained furniture. Enjoy panoramic views including the Sierra Estrella and South Mountain Ranges, the Gila River and two championship golf courses from your private patio or balcony.
