Kevin J. Cady

President & CEO of OnPoint Vision

Kevin Cady is the CEO and Founder of OnPoint Vision™, a refractive company that designs, develops & manufactures intraocular lens implants, most specifically the AccuraSee™ Intraocular Pseudophakic Contact Lens (AKA: CadyLens) designed to fine-tune the refractive error of the pseudophakic eye as well as deliver vision recovery for patients who have experienced a decline in vision due to age-related retinal pathologies.  Prior to forming OnPoint Vision™, Mr. Cady joined Refocus Group in 2015 as Vice President of Marketing & Business Development. From 2011 to 2014, Mr. Cady was the Regional Business Director for WaveTec Vision Systems, where he was responsible for the marketplace expansion of the Optiwave Refractive Analysis (ORA) system to ophthalmic surgeons. Prior to joining WaveTec Vision Systems, Mr. Cady was the Area Vice President of Sales for Bausch Lomb Surgical, after the company acquired Eyeonics. Mr. Cady has over 30 years in the ophthalmic industry theatre with extensive knowledge and experience in both the development of ophthalmic pharmacologic agents and medical device product line.

Mr. Cady has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics from Illinois State University. He is credentialed with over 35 patents worldwide with the invention of the CadyLens, an Intraocular Pseudophakic Contact Lens (IOPCL) as well as related surgical instruments and medical devices.

Chris Considine

President and Chief Executive Officer of TRUE Sports

Chris Considine is a veteran sporting goods executive who brings to TRUE Sports the skills and experience gained during a stellar career at Wilson Sporting Goods where he rose through the ranks to become President and CEO, a position he held for nine years.

He began his career with the company as an entry level sales associate and also served as President and General Manager of the Team Sports Division where he led the division to record profitability, spearheaded new product development, entered into key brand sponsorships and established marketing relationships with all-star athletes.

Prior to joining TRUE Sports, Considine founded Onward Advisory, a management consulting firm focused on helping sports companies improve their business performance.

Charlie Cook

Founder of The Cook Political Report
Political Analyst for the National Journal

Charlie Cook is widely regarded as one of the nation’s leading authorities on U.S. elections and political trends. Charlie founded the independent, non-partisan Cook Political Report in 1984, serving as Editor and Publisher until August 1, 2021 when Amy Walter took over those roles, ownership and management of the venerable newsletter. Charlie will remain as a contributor to the renamed “Cook Political Report with Amy Walter.”

In addition to lecturing, Charlie will continue to write his weekly column for National Journal and serving as a political analyst for both National Journal and for NBC News. Cook is also a co-author of the 2020 and 2022 editions of The Almanac of American Politics.

Al Hunt in the Wall Street Journal has referred to Charlie as “the Picasso of election Analysis” while the New York Times has referred to the Cook Political Report as “a newsletter that both parties regard as authoritative.” In 2010, Charlie was the co-recipient of the American Political Science Association’s prestigious Carey McWilliams award to honor “a major journalistic contribution to our understanding of politics.” In 2013 Charlie served as a Resident Fellow at the Institute of Politics at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government.

Dallas Davidson

Six-time Award Winning Songwriter of the Year, Dallas Davidson, is one of music’s most in-demand songwriters. Chris DeStefano is a singer/songwriter, producer/mixer and multi-instrumentalist based in Nashville, TN. He is a 3x CMA Triple Play Award Winner and has co-penned over 20 hit songs for artists like Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, Chase Rice, Rascal Flatts, Billy Currington, Dan+Shay, Miranda Lambert, Chris Young and Morgan Evans. His number-one songs include “Good Girl” by Carrie Underwood, “That’s My Kinda Night” by Luke Bryan, and “Rewind” by Rascal Flatts. Chris also is the President and CEO of Winsongs Music focused on developing songwriters and artists.

Scott R. Elkins

Chief Executive Officer of Zeus Fire & Security

Scott R. Elkins is CEO of Zeus Fire & Security, a network of leading fire and security providers. Zeus’ footprint includes Alert Alarm of Hawaii, Independent Alarm of New Jersey, PASS Security of Missouri, SMG Security of Illinois, and UAS of Pennsylvania. Elkins is the former owner and a 30-plus-year employee of UAS, a national provider of fire and security services in a wide variety of vertical markets including restaurants, retail, and outdoor equipment yards. Zeus maintains two monitoring centers including the 2021 TMA SMB Monitoring Center of the Year at UAS in Paoli, PA and an additional monitoring center in Honolulu, HI.

Scott is also the Chairman of the Board for NetOne, a network combining the 39 “Best of the Best” independently owned security companies from across North America and has been on the NetOne Board for over 15 years. In addition, Scott was the principal inventor of United States Patent No. 7,155,739: “Method and system for secure registration, storage, management and linkage of personal authentication credentials data over a network.” Scott earned a Master of Science degree in Organizational Dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania.

Ashley Gorley

Songwriter/Publisher at Tape Room Music

Ashley Gorley has written a record-breaking 73 number-one radio singles and has had more than 400 songs recorded by artists such as Morgan Wallen, Luke Bryan, Chris Stapleton, Carrie Underwood, Thomas Rhett, Dan + Shay, Kelsea Ballerini, Bon Jovi, Weezer, and more. In 2023, he celebrated multiple weeks as Billboard’s Number One Hot 100 Songwriter, all-genre. His hit “Last Night” reigned as the number one Hot 100 Song for an unprecedented 16 weeks, which speaks to the rare accomplishment of the country crossover hit. It is officially the longest-running Hot 100 chart topper from a solo artist.

Gorley was recently honored with Variety’s Songwriter of the Year, all-genre, at the 2023 star-studded Hitmakers event. He was named Songwriter of the Decade at the Nashville Songwriter Awards for songs spanning 2010-2019. He has been honored as ASCAP Country Songwriter of the Year an unprecedented ten times and is a six-time Billboard Top Country Songwriter of the Year, six-time NSAI Songwriter of the Year, and 2021 iHeart Radio All-Genre Songwriter of the Year, landing the nomination again in 2022 and 2023. He has multiple Grammy, CMA, and ACM nominations and wins, including a nomination for Country Song of the Year at February’s upcoming Grammy Awards. Gorley was awarded ACM Songwriter of the Year and Song of the Year with Cole Swindell’s “She Had Me At Heads Carolina” in 2023.

In 2011, Gorley formed his own publishing and artist development company, Tape Room Music. Writers for Tape Room have celebrated over 40 number-one songs, including 2018 ASCAP Country Song of the Year, “Body Like A Back Road” and 2021 ASCAP, BMI, and SESAC Country Song, “One Of Them Girls.” 

Maneesh Goyal

Chief Operating Officer of the Mayo Clinic Platform

Maneesh Goyal is Chief Operating Officer, Mayo Clinic Platform, at Mayo Clinic. Mr. Goyal oversees the financial and operating performance and growth of Mayo Clinic Platform, working in partnership with John Halamka, M.D., M.S., President of Mayo Clinic Platform, and Clark Otley, M.D., Chief Medical Officer of Mayo Clinic Platform. 

Mr. Goyal has accountability for the ongoing refinement and execution of the Platform strategic and operating plans; acquisition of executive and expert talent; the development of processes, systems and infrastructure for the Platform ecosystem of business; and the attraction of external partners and collaborators.

Mr. Goyal brings a cross-disciplinary background of finance, investing, operations, product development and engineering. He was most recently the vice chair, Corporate Development at Mayo Clinic. Prior to joining Mayo, he led the product and solution functions as the chief solutions officer and chief corporate development officer at Welltok, an enterprise B2B2C consumer health platform where he also had responsibilities in corporate development, post-merger integration and capitalization. Prior to joining Welltok, Mr. Goyal was a managing director with Miramar Venture Partners, a leading early-stage investor focusing on the information technology space. With Miramar, he led investments and was an advisor and board member for several health and consumer internet companies. Before entering the venture world, Mr. Goyal was an early employee with Broadcom, a Fortune 500 company, leading product development and engineering efforts in more than a dozen communications technology solutions.

Mr. Goyal earned a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, a master’s in electrical engineering from the University of Southern California, and an MBA from the Anderson School of Management at UCLA.

Randy, a retired law enforcement officer, started selling the first 44 Pro gloves with his son Brent out of their home in Southern California. Geoff Kalan

Chief Strategy Officer of Playfly Sports

Geoff Kalan currently serves as the Chief Strategy Officer for Playfly Sports, the emerging leader in sports marketing, media and technology offering digitally-enabled solutions across the high school, collegiate and professional sports arenas. In his role, Kalan is responsible for development and implementation of Playfly’s corporate strategy, partnerships, strategic investments and acquisitions. He is also a member of the Playfly Sports executive leadership team.

Kalan joined the fast-growing, sports marketing and media company as the second employee behind CEO and Founder Mike Schreiber in the Spring of 2020 ahead of Playfly’s founding in September and now leads corporate strategy and development for an organization partnering with more than 2,000 brand sponsors, 83 professional teams, and 50 high school and college athletic departments. Kalan has overseen 15 major acquisitions since joining Playfly, including Home Team Sports in 2021, from Fox Sports, and most recently the acquisition of Evolution Sports in 2024 which advanced Playfly’s international expansion into Europe.

Prior to joining Playfly, he worked as an investment banker with Lazard, advising multi-billion-dollar clients on mergers and acquisitions. His work with Versum Materials led to the company’s announced merger with Entegris and subsequent sale to Merck for approximately €5.8 billion. Additionally, Kalan helped in Macquarie Infrastructure Fund’s sale of Atlantic Aviation to KKR for $4.475 billion. Kalan first gained his experience in the sports world while advising the Australian Rugby Union on its exploration of expansion into the U.S. market. He graduated from Middlebury College and received his MBA at The Wharton School.

Michael J. Kuh

Michael Kuh is the New York Managing Partner for Hogan Lovells. Clients turn to Michael Kuh for strategic legal advice in high-stakes private equity, M&A, emerging companies, and venture capital transactions in consumer, technology, sports, and professional service industries, among others.

Michael represents corporate clients, private equity firms and their portfolio companies, financial investors, emerging companies and established companies, and principals in all stages of an investment and in all aspects of a transaction. He also counsels companies and boards on corporate governance matters, complex commercial transactions, and joint ventures.

Michael also maintains a leading sports and entertainment practice, advising some of the most prestigious sporting organizations, including athletic teams, leagues, national governing bodies of sport, and major international bodies. Recently he represented a number of the acquirors of the Baltimore Orioles baseball club. He also represented the first ever private equity investors into an NBA team. He represented the successful international bid by Canada, Mexico, and the United States to host the 2026 FIFA World Cup, as well as served as lead outside counsel creating the National Women’s Soccer League. He has advised regarding the creation of Major League Cricket in the United States and advised the International Cricket Council regarding hosting the T20 Cricket World Cup in the United States in 2024. He has also represented domestic and international entities in managing the bidding, evaluation, and award process to host the Olympic Games.

Experience includes: advising the founders of the National Women’s Soccer League in creating the league and subsequent corporate advice regarding expansion teams, team sales, and media and sponsorship deals; advising the International Cricket Council (ICC) on its successful bid to co-host the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in 2024, which will be the first global cricket tournament to be staged in the U.S. and the structure and plan to host the 2024 T20 World Cup in the U.S.; advising USA Rugby on its successful bid to host the 2031 and 2033 Rugby World Cups in the U.S.; advising the United Bid Committee of Canada, Mexico and the United States on its successful bid to host the 2026 FIFA World CupTM; advising the International Olympic Committee on the selection of the hosts for the 2024 and 2028 Olympic Games; advising Michele Kang regarding her acquisition of the National Women’s Soccer League’s Washington Spirit; represented the Walton-Penner Family on the US$4.65bn acquisition of the Denver Broncos from the Pat Bowlen Trust, the highest value ever paid for the acquisition of a professional sports team; advising Pulse Sports & Entertainment in an agreement to represent the English Premier League Everton Football Club in its U.S. expansion; representing CrossFit on a full “legal audit” to ensure that proper corporate hygiene has been maintained and that corporate books and records reflect company practices.

Dinn Mann

Co-Founder at Playrs Holdings & the CEO of Goatnet

Dinn Mann, the CEO of Goatnet, started the enterprise after 17 years as a founding executive at MLB Advanced Media.

He led the launch and operation of MLB.com, MLB.TV, the MLB app, plus web site and social media production for every team. Dinn championed taking the tech developed for MLB and allocated resources to form a spin-off business that powered like-minded intellectual property owners’ content. That company, BAM Tech, managed streaming for The Masters, March Madness, WWE, HBO, the NHL, and many others, and would sell to Disney/ESPN for $2 billion+. MLBAM won 35 major digital media awards in Dinn’s seasons with Baseball.

For his next entrepreneurial opportunity, Dinn founded Goatnet, a tech platform that addresses a need in the marketplace for aggregated influence among aspiring, trending and legacy GOATs, and putting ROI into NIL, incorporating cost-effective A.I. solutions for new media storytelling designed to drive engagement, networking and revenue.

On a personal note, Dinn is the grandson of the visionary behind the Astrodome and the son of a lifelong country songwriter. A graduate of Baylor University, Dinn became a nationally honored figure in six news organizations before joining MLB. He and his wife Betsy have three daughters, one son, four cats and two dogs.

Andrew Ng

Andrew Ng is the Managing General Partner at AI Fund, Founder of DeepLearning.AI, and an Adjunct Professor at Stanford University.

As a pioneer in machine learning and online education, Dr. Ng has changed countless lives through his work in AI and has taught over 8 million people AI. He was the founding lead of the Google Brain team, which led Google’s drive to adopt modern AI, and the VP & Chief Scientist at Baidu.

He is also Chairman and Co-founder of Coursera, a leading online education company. In 2023, he was named to the Time100 AI list of the most influential AI persons in the world. Dr. Ng now focuses his time primarily on his entrepreneurial ventures, looking for the best ways to accelerate responsible AI practices in the larger global economy.

Dr. Ng has authored over 200 papers in AI and related fields, and holds a B.Sc. from CMU, M.Sc. from MIT and Ph.D. from UC Berkeley.

Kevin Slavin

Biosecurity Project Leader at Biotech Innovator Ginkgo Bioworks
Principal Investigator at MIT Media Lab

Kevin Slavin is an executive, serial entrepreneur, and academic researcher, currently working with Ginkgo Biosecurity, a division of Ginkgo Bioworks. His background includes pioneering research, patents, and accomplishments in widespread technologies from location-based sensing, to audience development, algorithmic trading, and metagenomic surveillance.

Slavin founded Area/Code, which invented location-based games and was acquired to become the New York office of Zynga in 2011. Recruited to lead a research group at the MIT Media Lab, Slavin developed some of the earliest techniques for environmental microbial sensing. As Chief Science and Technology Officer for The Shed in New York City, he was responsible for overseeing and integrating technology and science to the city’s first new major cultural institution since Lincoln Center.

Since 2020, Slavin has been focused on biosafety and biosecurity, to safeguard public health and national security against global biological risks. He has delivered talks in major institutional contexts including TED, Aspen, and Fortune 50 companies, and was the Vice-Chair of the Cooper Union for the Advancement of Arts and Sciences.  

Nate Smith

General Manager of Business Operations at PetVet365

Nate has delivered innovation to the pet and veterinary services categories.  As the head of grocery strategy for Walmart U.S., Nate was instrumental in building and implementing the plan to revitalize the pet department including bringing Pet Armour, the first Frontline Plus generic equivalent to the retail market.  As the President of VIP Petcare, Nate ran the nation’s largest mobile veterinary practice and launched VetIQ veterinary clinics inside Walmart stores.  In February 2022, Nate joined PetVet365 after the company received its first private equity investment.  Nate has been married for 30 years and has six children.  Nate received his MBA from the Darden Business School at the University of Virginia.  

David S. Utley, M.D.

President & Chief Executive Officer of Pivot

David S. Utley, M.D. graduated from Harvard Medical School (’92). He then completed his surgical training in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery, as well as facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, at Stanford University Medical Center, where he was subsequently appointed to the faculty as clinical assistant professor of surgery (1992-2003).

In 2003, Utley founded BARRX Medical (GI endoscopy, ablative therapy for neoplasia) and served as CMO from 2003 to 2012. BARRX was acquired by Covidien in 2012, forming GI Solutions. Utley served as CMO for GI Solutions until 2014.

In 2015, Utley founded Pivot Inc. (fka. Carrot Inc.) to solve the global health crisis caused by tobacco use. Pivot addresses cessation for all forms of tobacco (combustible, vaporized and smokeless). Pivot is a scalable digital solution which is aligned with the HHS practice guideline and which delivers a mobile app experience with tailored behavior change content, pharmacotherapy, an FDA-cleared carbon monoxide (CO) breath sensor, a supportive peer community, and personal tobacco treatment coaching.

Peter Valhouli-Farb

Co-Founder at Arctos Sports Partners

Peter Valhouli-Farb is a Co-Founder at Arctos Sports Partners. Mr. Valhouli-Farb is responsible for sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities, fundraising and investor relations.

Prior to the formation of Arctos Sports Partners, Mr. Valhouli-Farb served as Director of Strategy & Development and Special Assistant to the Chief Strategy Officer at Fenway Sports Group (“FSG”) and the Boston Red Sox. While at FSG, he was responsible for evaluating potential team acquisitions, sourcing and evaluating non-team investments, launching new lines of business within the FSG platform and assessing growth and monetization strategies for the existing FSG portfolio.

Prior to joining Fenway Sports Group, Mr. Valhouli-Farb served as an Associate on the investment team at Accel Partners in Palo Alto, CA and began his career as an Analyst on the investment team at Bessemer Venture Partners in New York.

Mr. Valhouli-Farb graduated from Cornell University, where he received a B.S. in Industrial and Labor Relations. He received his MBA from Harvard Business School.
